This Disclaimer shall cover all entities of: 365 Days of Autism and business owner Lisa (legal name: Elizabeth) Wong, including but not limited to, the website, blog posts, videos, external store services, email, phone calls, texts, other internet communication, products, books (tangible or electronic), programs, all services - including Coaching/Consulting, free services, free downloads, consultations, free consultations, social media, e-newsletters, workshops, speaking engagements & affiliate marketing (throughout the remainder of this disclaimer the aforementioned items shall be collectively referred to as 365 Days of Autism). Note: the role of the Coach/Consultant is meant to be an educator, mentor, and guide. Not Medical Advice or Counseling/Therapy Replacement

Coaching and Consulting with 365 Days of Autism (refer to General statement above) is by no way a replacement for traditional psychotherapy and/or medical counseling, or treatment by any other licensed medical professional. It is not meant to diagnose any medical condition. I am not a doctor or licensed counselor/therapist. Although I have a background as a Nurse, I am not operating in a "Nursing" capacity. Coaching/Consulting is not meant to replace any therapy, including but not limited to, Speech, Occupational, Physical Therapies or Applied Behavioral Analysis assessment/treatment, or any other medical professional. It is important to seek the advice of a medical professional and/or a mental health professional for yourself, your family, and your child when needed - this is at your discretion when you have questions and concerns. You agree and acknowledge that I am not providing medical advice, mental health advice, or even religious advice in any way. All discussion regarding you, your family, and your child are presented in a self-help context. You are ultimately responsible for yourself, your family, and your child.

No Guarantees / At Your Own Risk

There are absolutely no guarantees for success of any program outlined at 365 Day of Autism (refer to General statement above). Results vary as every child (and adult) is different. As with any program - there are sometimes unknown individual risks and situations that may occur during the use of 365 Days of Autism (refer to General statement above). You assume all responsibility for any injury, death, loss, harm, accidents, incidents, lack of progress/success that occur from the use of any information related to 365 Days of Autism (refer to General statement above).

Liability / Indemnity

You agree to hold 365 Days of Autism (refer to General statement above) harmless, indemnify and release 365 Days of Autism (refer to General statement above) from any and all cause of action, allegations, suits, claims, damages, or demands whatsoever, in law or equity, that may come up past, present, or future related to 365 Days of Autism (refer to General statement above). You assume all responsibility for any  injury, death, loss, harm, accidents, incidents, lack of progress/success that occur from the use of 365 Days of Autism (refer to General statement above).

Client responsibility

It is the responsibility of the client to accurately represent the concerns related to herself/himself, family and child or children. It is the responsibility of the client to honestly implement the agreed upon changes related to Coaching and Counseling in order to achieve the most positive results possible - the client is responsible for all actions and choices, both now and in the future. Client takes full responsibility when implementing any education/informational suggestion, including doing the appropriate amount of research/due diligence and seeking out the advice of a professional including but not limited to a Speech, Occupational, or Physical Therapist, an Applied Behavior Analyst, Medical Doctor, or Psychologist.

Other

Affiliate Marketing: This site at times uses affiliate marketing. For example: when you click on an Amazon link and make a purchase, 365 Days of Autism receives a small percentage of that sale. The book and product suggestions in any affiliate marketing are for educational and information purposes only - you assume all risk and liability for use of these books and products and hold 365 Days of Autism (refer to General statement above) blameless for any  injury, death, loss, harm, accidents, incidents, lack of progress/success.


Confidentiality: The Client/Coach relationship is strictly confidential except in cases of child abuse, elder abuse, or threats to harm yourself or others. Further - if the Coach is ordered by the court to provide information related to the client, the Coach will do so as ordered by the law. Confidentiality does not include general case conference type discussion for educational and/or consultation purposes - in this case all descriptor information is removed - no names or identifying information will be used.


Risks related to cyber crime: While reasonable efforts are made to protect your information, cyber crime is a reality. You agree to hold 365 Days of Autism (refer to General statement above) blameless, indemnify any theft of information via cyber-crime.
