ABOUT THE BOOK
Curious Kittens
brings us a groups of
sweet kitties playing
with their favorite toy
- yarn! Great for
color recognition with
special "pull-out" yarn
pages for each color.

  • Purchase yarn in various colors
and model rolling it into a ball -
you don't have to roll it all at
once . . . then show your child
how quickly it will unravel by
just rolling around on the floor.
    Great fine motor skills and
    cause and effect.
  • Do-a-Dot coloring and more! Use
    these pages with regular markers,
    crayons or Do-a-Dot Markers. You
can even cut up Wikki Stix and help
your child fill in the colors. (print me)
  • Do some kitten puzzles together.
  • Tug-of-war with yarn - use one piece
or better yet, braid individual colors of
yarn together to make "rope." See if
your child can pick a color to play
    with! The kittens played Tug-of-war
    on the ORANGE page.

  • Follow the leader: use the yarn -
    have your whole family play
    follow the leader. Everyone hold
onto the yarn and follow just the
    kittens on the RED page!
  • What does all the fuzzy yarn make?
A blanket! Play hide and seek
under the blanket or just pile
blankets on your child (make sure
he can breathe) for some sensory
    input.
